Writing Time

Here we are, working hard at our writing. We are writing narratives about a pig that is jumping into a garden.  Narratives are fictional stories with a problem and a solution.

Parents and caregivers, you will be able to read these in your child's Portfolio when they come home later in the year.

What a hard-working class Room 4 was today!

Chinese New Year and Famous Rowers

Photos from Friday:

Two famous rowers came to assembly - Mahe Drysdale and Juliette Haig. They told us lots about their training and how they achieved their dreams. They told us about going to the Olympics.

We were proud to host them. Their medals are big, heavy, and awesome!

On Friday we took our paper dragons home. We made them us part of our study on Chinese New Year.
They are soooooo cool!
